Welcome to SPARK! I'm delighted you've stopped by. 

I'm Shannon Short, The SPARK! Coach and founder of SPARK!. My goal for SPARK! is helping ignite the lives and businesses of individuals and entrepreneurs who want to live a more authentic, fulfilled, and TRUE life. 

My coach approach is collaborative, consultative, genuine, and encouraging. I am curious, insightful, and know how and when to pose the tough questions - gently. I won't settle for "I don't know" as an answer, because I believe, as we move through the discovery process together, you will see that you do, in fact, already have the answers you've been looking for.

With coaching, I truly believe I am finally creating a life that is moving me toward my purpose - my TRUTH - the one God put me on this earth to live out!

With that, at the core of my coaching is my belief in the POWER of:

• POSSIBILITY
• SELF AWARENESS
• FAITH

And to unlock that power, my desire for my clients is that you would:

• Have the courage to seek the truth - YOUR TRUTH! - completely, as there is so much power and freedom in the truth.
• Have the courage to live authentically and to seek your purpose in life; this is what will ignite the fire in your life and allow you to live with passion and in joy.
• Be True to You in everything you say, do, and decide, remembering that life is simply a series of choices and that not making a choice is, in and of itself, a choice. 
• Live curiously and ask questions to find your way, your truth, that it would allow you to live a life - and have a career or profession - that allows you to remain true to you AND to prosper.

Oh, and if by now you're still interested in my Coach training, credentials, etc. ...

I completed my initial Coach training through Coach U's Core Essentials Fast Track program, and I'm currently working toward my certification as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). In addition, I am enrolled in the Coach U Advanced Coaching Program, which will enhance my coaching toolbox and fulfill requirements toward my Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation with the ICF.

And outside of coaching, I have a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia, a Masters in Elementary Education from Mercer University, and business experience in a variety of positions held with the same large telecommunications company over the last 20+ years. My business background includes extensive experience in internal and customer communications, customer experience, marketing, customer care, purchasing, sales support, and negotiations.
